Louise Clayton has competed this season in the following events, and has won them all! Norwich Head in April at Womens Junior 18 (WJ18) Single, Women's Intermediate Adult Level 3 in the Quad(IM3) Shrewsbury Regatta in June, WJ18 Single, IM3 Quad Bridgnorth Regatta in June, WJ18 Single Ironbridge Regatta in June, WJ18 Quad During October 2011 Clayton Holdings agreed to Sponsor Louise Clayton who rows for Evesham Rowing Club as she aims to compete for the Junior GB Rowing team during 2012 and 2013 and then up to seniors as she turns 18 in 2013. Early winter 2011 and the boat arrives - First day on the water having collected it on top of the family car, quite a job as it is 25 ft long but only weighs 12 kg. All Decked out in its company livery. May 2012 Update The winter training session proved to be hard for various reasons. 1. Louise was injured and only during the past few weeks has recovered back to full competitive fitness which has meant she cannot do GB squad now till next season - Hugely disappointing but injuries happen and need time to heal 2. Louise has moved from Evesham Rowing Club back to her Local club, Stourport on Severn, where a GB standard coach is now in charge of her training. 3. Due to the appalling weather during March and April and the very high rivers the majority of the events locally and nationally were cancelled or Louise had no opposition so they only entered event was the Gloucester Head in the driving rain in February which she won. Next Event is the National Schools Rowing Championships in Nottingham the first weekend in June and then the National Championships in July 2012.
